ABOUT US
Our Texas operations kicked off business in February of 2010, and we have been operating for the past thirteen years focusing on the beverage and packaging industry for some of best-known names in the business (Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, Coca Cola, America’s Beverage-Kroger, Shasta, Refresco Beverages, Pactiv, Plastipak, and Crown Cork & Seal). From the inception of the operation the focus has been one thing “take care of the customer no matter what it takes”. We have grown from a one-man brokerage operation to a company offering 53’ and 57’ drop trailer capabilities with our fleet of 160 trailers to providing a dedicated fleet of specialized flatbed equipment. Up to 2017 we operated as a stand-alone asset-based agent. In 2017 we had grown to the point where it made financial sense to break away from an agent format and merged with Twin City Transportation.
In 2021 I spun off the Texas operation with the purchase of TC Trans, LLC. while at the same time reestablishing CA Transportation Services.
Both entities are owned by Arnold Group TX, LLC. Our fleet of trailers are operated by 60 tractors. Which is a combination of CA Transportation tractors, Dedicated Contract Carriers, and Owner Operators.
CA Transportation and TC Trans, LLC. are unique in that we provide 57’ dry vans for our Texas customers instead of the standard 53’ dry vans. The reason for the longer length trailers is our focus on customers that produce light weight products (plastic, bottles, metal cans, and packaging products) and the use of 57’ dry vans has reduced our customer’s transportation spend by millions of dollars, thus eliminating the need for additional trucks. Our Texas customers were able to take over 3,400 trucks off the Texas roads in 2022, making an impact on congestion issues along with reducing carbon emissions and their overall transportation spend.
We are extremely fortunate, our contracts are with the most recognized names in the beverage and packaging industries, and we have become the largest supplier of transportation services utilizing 57’ trailers in Texas.
